Julie Michelle Bullard was taken Monday morning, January 2, 2006, from her boyfriend's mobile home near the town of Broadway in Lee County, North Carolina. An armed man broke in and bound the four people inside with heavy tape, then separated them in different rooms and left with Julie.

Sadly, the Bullard family's worst fears were realized when the State Medical Examiner's office confirmed that the remains found in a cemetery near Fayetteville were those of the 23-year-old Lee County woman.

Harnett County Sheriff Larry Rollins said he hopes the confirmation will bring a sense of closure to the Bullard family.

The Kristen Foundation has worked with the Bullard family and offers them the strength needed to guide the family through their trying times.
